Chief Executive Officer of Rufftown records, Ricky Nana Agyemang popularly known as Bullet says he recorded his first hit song in someone’s garage.

Narrating his past life on “Behind the Fame” show with Lexis Bill on Joy FM, Monday, Bullet said he used to be a street boy who “never thought I would make it in life.”

According to him, he lived with rapper Akan, who was part of duo Ruff n Smooth, at the time where they were broke and had no money to rent a home.

Bullet told Lexis that, he and Akan decided to sell their first hit, “Swagger”, to singer Mimi Andani for about GH₵ 1,000 because “we wanted to use GH₵600 to rent and the GH₵400 left to record more songs.”

When Lexis asked Bullet whether he had ever gone broke in life, he said, “I was broke since day 1. Lost my mom at the age of 1 and my dad had also died. I stayed with people as houseboy. I have been in the streets and slept on tables at Kwame Nkrumah Circle,” .
