The Ghanaian Champions suffered another away defeat in their African campaign after succumbing to the pressure of Congolese giants AS Vita.
Newly crowned Champions of DR Congo, AS Vita began the game in an explosive manner, creating waves of attack in such of the opener.

Right on the 14 minute, Jean-Marc Makusu scored the opener after Aduana goalkeeper Joseph Addo committed an error. The Black Stars B shot-stopper failed to grab the ball which went pass him. The host kept the pressure finishing the first half with 67% of possession. Emmanuel Akuoko was booked in the first interval.
Aduana Stars were left panting for breath in the second half, as Vita continued to such for the all important second to put the game to bed.

The Ghanaian champions became increasingly frustrated leading to captain Yahaya Mohammed getting on the books of the referee after picking a yellow card. Minutes later, Justice Anane was also booked for a hard tackle on an AS Vita midfielder.

Jean-Marc Makusu took advantage of a period of dominance in the game to grab his second and Vita’s second in the 78th minute to leave Aduana Stars with a huge mountain to climb. The defeat means Aduana Stars slip out of a qualification spot with Vita and Raja Casablanca occupying the first and second position..
